Everybody gets fixated on B and forgets that A exists when they tell the world about this. Once you accept the license and start playing, they are no longer legally required to issue a refund.

Only if you A) do not register an account to play the game and B) call that number within 30 days of purchase. Once you accept the License Agreement and the Terms of Use, you will no longer be eligible for a refund. If you do not agree with the Terms of Use, then (a) you may not register for an Account to play the Game and (b) you may call 1-80 within thirty (30) days after the original purchase and request a full refund of the purchase price. The Terms of Use agreement governs all aspects of game play. When I checked some twitch throughout the downtimes - mainly to see whether everybody encounters the crash -, I saw frequent comments in the lines of 'crybabys complaining about servers in 3,2,1.' / 'this is how every launch goes'. That's not my intention, I do think the only feedback major producers understand is money, Obviously, everybody nowaday is always crying refund because there is a chance Blizzard will give a nice Jah rune as a compensation (/s, but you get my drift). Don't know about my chances, but want to give it a shot (the process of trying to refund alone made my blood boil, that's really really corpo). I have therefore just tried to refund the game via a ticket. Downtimes of 2-4 hours every day since Saturday do surprise me. The release day problems did not surprise me at all. Was really excited for the remaster, and it's a blast from the past that I really enjoy(ed). Have been playing D2 'back then', so 30+ here.
